What's new in April 2026
This update brings several long-requested features to Passage.
Browse words before you play
The new Glossary (≡ button in the header) lets you explore all 4,869 words across 39 categories before or after playing. Filter by category, language, reading level, or first letter — and search by word or definition.
Your progress is saved
Passage now remembers where you are in a session. If you close the tab mid-session and come back, your puzzle count, collected words, and settings are all restored automatically. Sessions expire after 24 hours.
Sound effects
A light chime plays when you select your first letter, a two-note unlock plays when you find a word, and a short buzzer plays when a selection doesn't match. All sounds respect the Sound on/off toggle.
